The Book on Developing Animals

The book, Developing Animals: Wildlife and Early American Photography was written by Matthew Brower. He is a lecturer in museum studies in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.

In the 2010 University of Minnesota Press publication, Matthew explores when Americans started taking pictures of animals. The book ventures back to the twentieth century as photography began to be a mass medium and wildlife photography an increasingly popular genre.
